Community Build,Strengthen Identity

Having successfully organized two batch this year, the SPS School of Media Marketing (SoMM) third batch was held on 18 - 19 September 2012 located at the ballroom SPS on Gedung Dewan Pers 6th floor,  Jl.Kebon Sirih 32 - 34 Jakarta. This short courses for professional media marketing in Indonesia was attended by 20 participants from 13 media.
SoMM batch 3 brought the theme " Community Building Strategies & Sell Products Media". The event was opened by the Chairman of the Serikat Perusahaan Pers (SPS) Mr. Bambang Halintar, which at the same time aslo become a speaker on the first day session with the subject  “New Revenue Streming by building Community”. Mr. Bambang Halilintar said the content, events and community is an unite that can not be separated, the important thing of the idea is to make communities that can generate  the media marketing .
In the second session by Mr. Herry Hernawan - Tempo Marketing Director with a discussion about defining the community according to positioning and media segmentatio. To define a community, they need the understanding of segmentation, targeting, and positioning our media, "said Herry.

Designing and communicating content to the community and communicate the content to the community through a multi-channel was the third session taught by Mrs. Petty Siti Fatimah, the Chief Editor of Femina magazine. The need for a mapping to build a community need facts / research, observation and instinct, said Mrs. Petty.
In this same session, participants divided into four groups, invited workshop to design an event that is relevant to the positioning and segmentation of each media, complete with sponsor product brand associations.
In the second day training by Mr. Endy Subiyantoro explained about design of the relevant event for the community, evaluation and audit community event. According to him, Understanding the characteristics of the community, as well as the target market is necessary to implement the event. For the development of aspects of creativity and effectiveness is needed in formulating, implementing events so as to evaluate and measure brand action for the community.
After a lunch break, the show was closed with the distribution of certificates and photos. SoMM next will take place in 7 - 8 November 2012 the theme How to Monetizing Your Digital Media. While SoMM Batch-5 with the topic Personal Selling Skill will be held December 19 – 20 December 2012.
