The 17th "How to Handle Press" Workshop in Kuala Lumpur

For a corporation, reputation is an important asset that must be maintained and developed to give a big benefit for the enterprise in the next days. It was the main purpose of Association of Press Publishers (SPS) for organizing “How to Handle Press Workshop”.

The 17th event was held in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 21 to 23 May. The theme was “Strategic Management and Audit Communication”.

There were 17 public relation officers from 11 agencies. They were taught about how to manage the company brand and preserve the reputation, and also how to audit the public relation programs.

The speakers of this workshop are Gatot Subagio (Head of Corporate Communication CIMB Niaga Bank), Amalia E. Maulana (Director of Etnomark Consulting), Yanti Pramudya (Director of PT Cognito), and Budiarto Shambazy (Senior Journalist of Kompas).

Para pembicara memberikan materi tentang pengalaman mereka dalam mempertahankan reputasi dan mengelola audit pemberitaan di media. Di akhir acara, setiap peserta mendapatkan sertifikat SPS yang ditandatangani oleh Ketua Umum SPS Dahlan Iskan. Di hari terakhir, setiap peserta juga diajak berkeliling Kuala Lumpur, lalu kembali pulang ke Indonesia pada sore harinya.

The speakers gave matters about their experiences in maintaining reputation and control the media news audit. In the last session, the participants got certificates which were signed by The Chairman of SPS, Dahlan Iskan. In the last day, they were taken to travel around Kuala Lumpur.*anneila
