FEKSI 2013 is On the Stage: SMA Kristen 1 Tomohon Won FEKSI Manado 2013

After successfully managed Festival Ekonomi Kreatif Tingkat SMA dan Sederajat se-Indonesia (FEKSI) last year, Serikat Perusahaan Pers (SPS) Pusat holds the same event again this year. The series of the events has been begun in Manado, North Sulawesi, Thursday (08/02/2013). The team from SMA Kristen 1 Tomohon wins the debate competition themed creative economy.

FEKSI Manado, which takes place in Universitas Sam Ratulangi, followed by 36 teams from high schools around Manado. The team from SMA 1 Tomohon consisted of Windy Walintjo, Perchy Salaki, and Jurike Kaunang, manages to beat the othe teams. In the second place there is  SMA Negeri 9 Manado and SMA Negeri 3 Manado in the third place.

SPS is in cooperation with The Ministry of Trade of Republic of Indonesia in organizing the event. The committee will select the best teams from various cities in Indonesia to be competed in national level competition.

After Manado, FEKSI 2013 will go to Medan, Palembang, Pekanbaru, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Denpasar, Banjarmasin, and Makassar.

FEKSI is one of the annual events of SPS which included in Young Readers Indonesia (YRI) programm. YRI is a programm spreaded all over the world to increase the readership of the youth, especially printed media readership.
