In general, WAN - IFRA survey showed that activating the audience engagement is the current trend that can add new revenue. From the total revenue of Media Publishers in America in 2012, about 27% is produced from non-print revenues through the digital platform, advertising support activities, and e-commerce. Various efforts include the audience engagement has proven successful in increasing revenues to some Media Publishers in Europe and America.

What about the experience in Indonesia? Is there any audience engagement has become a norm that media companies do? What are the forms of audience engagement that Media Publishers made? How did they manage to be sustainable and generate significant revenue for media publishers?
