Write Creatively for Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Republic Indonesia

Association of Press Publishers (SPS) cooperated with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources held writing training with theme “Creative Writing for Corporate Internal Media”. This event was organized for two days on the last 12 to 14 June. There were 23 participants who joined this training.

On this occasion, four keynote speakers attended. Each speaker gave matters about how to write news, feature, and interesting press release. Executive Director of SPS, Asmono Wikan, opened the first session and also explained about media landscape condition in Indonesia.

The next speakers were Business Director of Harian Bisnis Indonesia, Ahmad Djauhar, who gave matters about feature writing; Managing Editor of SWA Magazine, Teguh Poeradisastra, who explained about writing and editing articles to look good and interesting; and also Editor of Harian Bisnis Indonesia, Lahyanto Nadie, who explained about writing press released based on media angle.

Workshop participants looked very enthusiastic when the speaker gave the chance to ask questions and express opinions about their experiences while working as a public relations of the various units in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. SPS Center also took the initiative to provide special gifts for 3 people active participants who gave lots of useful questions for other participants.

After the event finished, all participants got certificates which signed by SPS Chairman, Dahlan Iskan. In the last day, they went back to Jakarta. anneila&eta
